The start of our design process uses ABB robotics 3D simulation (RobotStudio) to verify robot reaches, cycle times, and feasibility of your system. It uses 3D modeled robots and accessories such as conveyors, grippers, and tooling as well as the actual operating system of the robot to provide exact cycle times. You have the assurance of knowing that our concepts will be valid and cycle times achievable before designs ever begin.
RobotStudio is a true off-line programming tool, not a simulation and visualization tool. To achieve true off-line programming, RobotStudio utilizes ABB VirtualRobot Technology. The actual robot system software controls the robot simulation. With the VirtualRobot controller robot programs are accurate and ready to go.
